1. 生物分子识别:开展核酸、蛋白质等生物分子识别及生物传感研究,发掘新的病原微生物分析与检测的分子识别原件,并通过基因操纵对分子识别元件进行定向改造,以发展新的病原微生物分析方法和检测技术 / Molecular Recognition: conducting the fundamental researches in molecular recognition and biosensing, exploring new molecular recognition elements for the analysis and detection of pathogenic microbes by genetically engineering the biological elements such as enzymes, functional proteins and genes.
2. 分子酶学:开展病原微生物致病和治疗相关的重要蛋白质和酶的结构与功能研究,为阐释致病机理、耐药机理及发现新的药物靶标提供重要的参考依据;采用理性设计和体外分子进化等手段,对重要工业用酶和分析用酶进行定向改造和加工,发展新的或性能更优良的酶/ Molecular Enzymology: exploring structure and function of proteins and enzymes that involve in disease causing and drug resistance of Bacillus tuberculosis and other severe pathogens , genetically engineering enzymes by rational design and directed evolution in vitro, for the purpose of developing new catalysts with better performance.
