1. 酶与催化:既研究天然酶,又研究模拟酶,研究它们的结构与功能的关系、催化机理、分子改造/ Enzyme and Catalysis: Research nature enzyme, simulation enzyme and the relationship between structure and function, catalytic mechanism, and molecule design
2. 金属螯合物(重点是博莱霉素、阿霉素等抗癌抗生素以及金属卟啉、酞菁、菲咯啉等)与自由基:这些金属螯合物与氧自由基密切相关,研究它们的分子药理,模拟酶性质及自由基理论/ Metal Chelation and Free Radical: Research their molecular pharmacology, simulation enzyme character, and free radical principle
3. 药学:重点研究抗病毒、抗菌、抗癌药物,包括中草药有效成分的发现、分离与表征,抗病毒基因工程疫苗的研制,药用酶的基因工程改造等/ Pharmacy: Research the antivirus, antibacterial and anticancer drugs, which includes discovering effective ingredient of Chinese traditional drugs, preparing gene engineering bacteria, and so on
