研究方向 / Research Interests
针对危害人类健康的重要病毒病如乙型肝炎和丙型肝炎开展型乙肝炎病毒 (HBV) 和丙型肝炎病毒 (HCV) 的分子生物学和病毒与宿主 ( 细胞 ) 相互作用等方面的研究,揭示病毒致病的分子机理,研制基因工程疫苗,探索新的诊断及治疗方法。同时构建具有自主知识产权的杆状病毒载体系统用于重要疾病的基因治疗。/Our research group focuses on several different aspects of molecular virology, viral pathogenesis and vaccine development. The group studies hepatitis viruses (such as HBV and HCV) and baculovirus. Currently, the research projects are on the genetic diversity and the genetic bases of clinical outcome of hepatitis virus's infection. Several systems are being utilized in the laboratory to investigate the interaction between the virus and its host. Our laboratory is also interested in the investigation of immunotherapeutic and prophylactic vaccines, and to that end we are exploring opportunities to develop and use baculovirus vectors for gene expression and gene delivery applications in vitro and in vivo.
